Finding high-authority websites…
Last updated: 19 September 2026
You are handing us your email address, your money and sometimes your clients’ work. This page explains exactly what we do with all of it, in plain English. If anything here is unclear, email team@contenzo.co.uk and a person will answer you.
We never see your card
Card details go straight from your browser to Stripe. They never touch our servers, and we can't see or store them.
No tracking, no ads
No advertising pixels, no analytics trackers, no third-party cookies. We don't sell or rent your data — to anyone, ever.
Leave whenever you like
Delete your account yourself from your profile page. It removes your profile, your sign-in and your listings.
Access kept narrow
Everything travels encrypted, passwords are stored as hashes we can't read, and staff only reach what a task needs.
Contenzo Ltd, 9 Kings Hall, Oldham, OL8 1DP, United Kingdom is the data controller for the information described here — meaning we decide why it is held and we answer for it. Reach us any time at team@contenzo.co.uk.
When you open an account: your name, email address and password. The password is handled by Google Firebase Authentication and stored only as a cryptographic hash — we cannot read it, and neither can anyone at Contenzo.
When you use the marketplace: the orders you place or receive, the target URLs and anchor text on them, the briefs and articles you supply, the websites you list, and the messages you send us. Publishers also give us the PayPal address their earnings go to.
When you pay: the amount, the date, and the reference Stripe gives the payment. Your card number, expiry and security code are entered inside Stripe’s own form and go directly to Stripe — they are never sent to us and we have no way to retrieve them.
Technical information: the usual server records — IP address, browser type, pages requested — kept briefly so we can keep the service running and spot abuse.
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We do not run advertising pixels or analytics trackers on this site, we are not part of any ad network, and we do not build a profile of you to target you with anything. We do not read the private contents of your orders except when we need to settle a dispute you or the other party has raised with us.
Most of it is simply what running the marketplace requires: creating your account, showing you listings, taking payment, passing an order to the right publisher, and emailing you when something on your order changes. That is processing necessary to perform our contract with you.
Some of it rests on our legitimate interests: keeping the platform secure, preventing fraud and chargeback abuse, and improving how the service works. We keep accounting and payment records because the law requires us to. Where we ever need anything beyond this — marketing you did not ask for, for instance — we will ask you first, and you can withdraw that agreement at any time.
We use a small number of well-known providers to run the service. Each one only receives what it needs for its own job, each is bound to protect it, and none of them are permitted to use it for their own purposes.
Buyers and publishers also see what an order requires: a publisher sees the brief, links and any file you attach, and both sides see the order’s progress. They do not see your email address, your wallet balance or anything else on your account.
We will disclose information if the law genuinely requires it, and if Contenzo is ever sold or merged your data would pass to the new owner under this same policy — we would tell you before that happened.
The chat bubble is powered by Google’s Gemini. Whatever you type into it is sent to Google to produce an answer, so please don’t put passwords, card numbers or anything confidential in there. It has no access to your account, your orders or the database, so it can only explain how things work — it cannot look anything up about you.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no consent banner to click past. What the site does keep in your own browser is small and functional: your sign-in session, so you are not asked to log in on every page, and your choice of light or dark theme. Clearing your browser data removes both, and the only consequence is that you sign in again.
Our providers operate globally, so some information is processed outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where that happens it is covered by the safeguards UK and EU law require for international transfers, such as the standard contractual clauses or an approved adequacy decision.
Your account information is kept while your account is open. Delete the account and your profile, your sign-in and your listings go with it.
Records of completed orders and payments are kept for as long as accounting, tax and fraud-prevention law requires — normally six years. After an account is deleted those records are held against an account identifier rather than your name or email, so they no longer identify you to anyone reading them.
Everything between you and Contenzo travels over an encrypted connection. Passwords are hashed by Firebase Authentication and are not readable by us. Admin accounts can add a second step — a code from an authenticator app on top of the password — and the parts of the system that move money run on the server, with checks a browser cannot bypass. Internal access is limited to what a task actually needs.
No service can promise perfect security, and we won’t pretend otherwise. What we can promise is that if a breach ever affects your data, we will tell you and the Information Commissioner’s Office as the law requires, rather than quietly hoping you don’t notice.
You can see and correct most of your information yourself on your profile page, and delete your account from the same place. An account cannot be deleted while it holds a wallet balance or has orders in progress, so spend what is left and let open orders finish first; wallet credit is not refunded to a card, as explained in our Terms of Service.
You also have the right to ask for a copy of what we hold, to have it corrected, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to have it erased where we are not required to keep it. Email team@contenzo.co.uk and we will respond within one month. You never have to pay for this, and asking will never affect how you are treated here.
If you think we have got something wrong, please tell us first — we would rather fix it. You are also entitled to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk, which regulates data protection in the UK.
Contenzo is for business use and accounts are only for people aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect information about children; if we learn that we have, we delete it.
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top, and we will email you before anything that meaningfully affects how your information is used takes effect. We will not quietly broaden what we do with your data and leave you to find out.
